Bingo Bingo Bingo.

Who said that bingo was only for small community events or for old folk's homes only?
Filipinos have taken it to the next level.

Yesterday I found myself at the World Trade Center... to my surprise there was already a line to get in as early as 12:30pm whereas the actual bingo games would start at 2:30pm.

I totally underestimated the number of bingo fanatics!

This particular bingo event was the largest ever organized by PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) who's beneficiary would be for "Sagip Musmos" - projects of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. The prizes were... wow! P1 million per game! for a total of 10 games! Plus there were extra games who's prizes were at P200,000 (not bad!). A raffle prize of P1M was included too! oh la la!

The event was a major success!!! I can only imagine how much they raised at P3k a ticket! =)
